More Than Nutrition,
A Partnership for Lifelong Health
At Buffalo Nutrition & Dietetics, we believe in personalized care that goes beyond diets to transform your well-being.
I founded this group of outstanding functional medicine dietitians to help people not only survive in a world of chronic disease, but also to be well.
My Registered Dietitians are expertly trained and advanced certified in Functional Medicine Nutrition through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the credentialing board for RDNs. This specialty practice area uses a holistic, systems biology approach to treating the entire person. In addition to being functional dietitians, each member of my team has subspecialties. We provide nutrition care for all stages of life and conditions.
The field of Nutrition is rapidly evolving, and so we must too. Science never sleeps. For this reason, we use a practice called round tabling, made famous by Cleveland Clinic. This strategy involves multiple providers consulting together over a single patient. As iron sharpens iron, we grow and learn from each other so we can bring the best care to our patients.
"Maybe you are searching among the branches, for what only appears in the roots." ~ Rumi
Our Pledge
We are dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve optimal health and wellness through the transformative power of Integrative and Functional Medicine nutrition. We provide personalized counseling, education, and a supportive platform for both clients and IFN providers, fostering a collaborative environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and motivated to make sustainable lifestyle changes.
Dietitian or Nutritionist?
Why choose an RDN?
As Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs), we are the gold standard in nutrition care. Our medical nutrition training, licensure, and strict ethical code set us apart—making us the only nutrition professionals working alongside doctors in hospitals nationwide. During COVID-19, RDNs provided life-saving IV nutrition to critically ill patients, proving our essential role in medical care.
While "nutritionist" is an unregulated term, only RDNs have the credentials to deliver evidence-based, insurance-covered nutrition therapy. Choosing an unqualified provider can be risky.
With advanced degrees, supervised practice, and board certification, RDNs are the trusted experts in safe, effective nutrition care. Plus, our team is certified in Functional Medicine, blending science with a holistic approach for truly personalized wellness.
