Medical Nutrition Theraphy

Personalized nutrition interventions designed to prevent, manage, or treat chronic conditions with evidence-based, root-cause care.

What is Medical Nutrition Therapy?

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a targeted, evidence-based approach to managing health through personalized nutrition. Our registered dietitian nutritionists use MNT to treat specific medical conditions by addressing underlying factors with tailored food and lifestyle plans.

This service goes beyond general nutrition advice. It involves a detailed review of your health history, lab work, medications, and lifestyle to create a treatment plan aligned with your wellness goals.

What to expect from your Nutrition Session?

As our Registered Dietitians are board-certified in the specialty practice area of Integrative & Functional Medicine Nutrition, new patient appointments are longer than the usual nutrition consult. You will establish a partnership with your RDN and she will formulate a medical nutrition plan that is both safe and effective using the functional medicine model.

Your RDN will complete a detailed review of your medical history, medication history, nutrition history, environmental factors, lifestyle and genetic considerations, and leverage that data to create a personalized treatment plan that leads to improved outcomes. By addressing root cause rather than symptoms, we can reduce disease risk and help you reach your wellness goals.

At the end of each visit, you and your RDN will establish short and long-term goals and decide how often you would like to meet for continuity of care. Initial appointments are 90–120 minutes long. Follow-ups range between 30–120 minutes depending on the complexity of the case and patient need.
