Full Bio

After becoming a registered dietitian, I was eager to begin practicing in a private setting. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in dietetics in high school, after meeting a dietitian who completely changed the way I viewed food and nutrition. I became fascinated with the powerful connection between nutrition, the body, the mind, and the nervous system. I developed a deep appreciation for nourishing my body and felt inspired to help others do the same.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College and my master’s degree from the University at Buffalo. While at UB, I had the privilege of teaching Culinary Medicine three times—leading both community-based classes and university courses for undergraduate and graduate students.

I began my clinical work as a dietitian at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), where I gained significant experience in patient care. My time at ECMC, along with my work at Buffalo Nutrition and Dietetics, helped me develop a strong foundation in both clinical and functional nutrition. I have loved being in the field of dietetics because it is one of the very few professions highly focused on the prevention of chronic disease.

Hormonal and gastrointestinal nutrition have become my greatest passions. The connection between the gut and the endocrine system is complex and significant, which makes a personalized, functional approach essential to uncovering the root causes of symptoms and restoring balance. These issues can be truly life-altering, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch my clients regain their spark through targeted, individualized care.

I believe that focusing on adding nourishing foods, rather than restricting them, is one of the most powerful ways to improve overall health. Healthy eating is a skill—and an experience—that can be learned and enjoyed. With my background in culinary medicine, I help clients integrate balanced, satisfying meals into their busy lives in realistic and joyful ways.

I also emphasize that food should never be a source of stress. In today’s diet-driven culture, many people struggle with their relationship with food. Addressing these struggles is essential to achieving lasting health. I am trained in supporting individuals with eating disorders and disordered eating habits and have extensive experience in intuitive and mindful eating.

Above all, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take control of their health through personalized care.
