Integrative Psychiatric Care
Compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that combines psychiatric expertise with a collaborative, whole-person approach.
A Whole-Person Approach to Mental Health
Mental health is deeply connected to every aspect of overall well-being. Gerald Frazier, PMHNP-BC, provides individualized psychiatric care that considers not only symptoms, but also lifestyle, nutrition, stress, trauma history, and metabolic health.
Through a collaborative and patient-centered approach, Gerald works with individuals experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Care plans are thoughtfully tailored to support meaningful, sustainable improvement over time.
As part of Buffalo Nutrition & Dietetics’ interdisciplinary model, psychiatric care can be integrated with nutrition and wellness support to provide more comprehensive care when appropriate.
Meet Gerald Frazier, PMHNP-BC
Our Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides personalized mental health care through virtual visits and collaborative support. During your appointment, Gerald Frazier, PMHNP-BC, will perform a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation focused on your emotional, behavioral, and overall wellness needs, which may include:
Mental health and symptom assessment
Medication evaluation and management
Trauma-informed and patient-centered support
Lifestyle and behavioral health discussions
Integrative and functional mental health approaches
Following your evaluation, Gerald will work collaboratively with your care team when appropriate to support a coordinated, individualized treatment plan. For optimal results, ongoing follow-up appointments may be recommended to support long-term mental wellness.

A Personalized Approach to Care
Mental health care is not one-size-fits-all. Gerald takes time to understand each patient’s experiences, concerns, and goals in order to develop an individualized treatment approach that feels supportive, collaborative, and realistic.
Care may include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, thoughtful medication management, lifestyle and behavioral support, and coordination with other providers when appropriate. By considering the connection between mental, emotional, and physical health, treatment is designed to support long-term well-being — not just symptom management.

Integrated & Collaborative Care
At Buffalo Nutrition & Dietetics, mental health care is approached through a collaborative lens. Gerald works alongside registered dietitians and wellness professionals to help patients receive comprehensive support that considers both physical and emotional health.
This integrative model recognizes the important relationship between nutrition, metabolism, stress, and mental well-being. When appropriate, care may include coordination between psychiatric services, nutrition counseling, and lifestyle support to help patients achieve more meaningful and lasting outcomes.
